Eriberto R. Calubaquib


Erie is the President of Metro Pacific Water. His expertise is in project planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance, and project management of water and wastewater projects.

Erie has over 42 years of experience in the water industry, starting in the public sector as Cadet Engineer at the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) in 1975. He then served in various technical and managerial capacities in LWUA, and was the General Manager of the Metropolitan Cebu Water District from 1990 to 1992. In 1992, he moved on to the private sector as Managing Director of Carl Bro International A/S, a Danish engineering consulting firm. In 1996, he joined the French water firm, Compagnie Generale des Eaux (now Veolia Water) as Managing Director where he worked in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific Region until the end of 2011. From 2012 to 2015, he was a special advisor to the President/CEO and to the Management Committee of the Manila Water Company Inc. He joined Metro Pacific Water in November 2015.

Erie is a licensed Civil Engineer and Sanitary Engineer. He earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and B.Sc. in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from the Mapúa Institute of Technology in 1975 and 1976 respectively. He later earned his Post-graduate Diploma in Hydrological Engineering (M.Sc.) from the International Institute for Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (IHE) in Delft, The Netherlands in 1981.

Maida B. Bruce


Maida serves as Metro Pacific’s Group Comptroller-Vice President, and concurrently, serves as Metro Pacific Water’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Maida joined MPIC in November 2009 and is responsible for strengthening and overseeing the Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting and System enhancements processes.

Prior to joining MPIC, Maida held a CFO role with the top real estate company in the Philippines. She was responsible for overseeing the financials of Ayala Lands’s Strategic Landbank Management Group including its other subsidiaries. She has more than thirteen years of extensive experience in banking under Citigroup Australia and Manila. She was VP for Special Purpose Vehicles under the Financial Control Department of Citigroup Australia and has handled several roles and responsibilities also in Citibank Manila. She was part of a pioneer team that implemented, supported and continuously upgraded a proprietary global financial reporting system to multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Julius Caesar S. Iglesia


Julius has over 30 years of experience in the water industry, starting out in 1987 with the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), the government-owned water utility that managed the Metro Manila system. In 1997, he joined the senior management team of the Lopez-owned Maynilad, which won the west concession during the privatization of the water utility. He began working for the Metro Pacific Group when Maynilad was re-privatized by MPIC in 2007.

He is currently the Country Manager of the MPW Vietnam Country Office and oversees the operations of the Vietnam projects of MPW. He was previously the Vice President for Engineering and Technology at Metro Pacific Water, where he led the team of engineers & consultants who assess water and wastewater projects, and explore innovative technologies in the water industry.

During his time with Maynilad, Mr. Iglesia was also the Chief Operations Officer of Philhydro Inc. from 2012 to 2013, a water company with operations in Bicol, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Nueva Viscaya, in the Phils. He was also the Chairman of the Board for the Common Purpose Facility ( CPF) of Maynilad and Manila Water from 2011 to 2012 and served as a director from 2007 to 2011.

Julius is a licensed civil engineer and has a Master of Engineering in Structural Design (All units completed) and PhD Units in Environmental Studies. He completed his advanced training in hydraulic modelling and analysis for water system and wastewater conveyance systems in New York, USA and in Paris, France.

Jose Maria Nino Jesus P. Madara


Jonji serves as the VP for Corporate Development in Metro Pacific Water and leads the Company’s efforts to grow its existing investments and pursue new business opportunities, both locally and internationally. He also works with the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation on their waste to energy initiatives.

Prior to joining the MPIC group, Jonji worked as an investment banker with the Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines and as an auditor with Ernst & Young in San Francisco, California.

He graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco in California and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting and finance.

Jonet S. Sanalila


Jonet is currently the Assistant Vice President for Business Development – Public-Private Partnerships at Metro Pacific Water (MPW). He spearheads the business development efforts of MPW on a national scale, by overseeing portfolio companies and establishing strategic footprint in key target areas in the Philippines. He concurrently serves as a Director various MPW subsidiaries in Iloilo, Baguio, and Dumaguete.

He has over 11 years of experience in the business development unit for the water sector in the Metro Pacific Group, starting out as a Business Development Officer at Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in 2010 prior to joining MPW.

He graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Santo Tomas and has several years of experience in the water sector – with expertise in negotiations, project management, strategic planning, and public-private partnerships.

Ma. Cecilia B. Jimenez - Rada


Macel is Metro Pacific Water's Head Legal Counsel and serves as Corporate Secretary.

In 2016, she joined Metro Pacific Investments Corporation as legal counsel where she worked on various M&A initiatives and special projects, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, taking charge of due diligence processes, and handling submissions to the Philippine Competition Commission. She also acted as legal counsel for some of the company’s new subsidiaries. Prior to joining the Metro Pacific Group, she was Director for Legislation in the Senate of the Philippines.

She earned her bachelor's degree in Economics and Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2011.

Jose Mari A. Lazo


JM currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Finance of Metro Pacific Water. He leads the company’s Financial Reporting and Planning, Investment Analysis, and Treasury functions.

Prior to joining Metro Pacific Water, JM held business development and project management roles in Aboitiz Equity Ventures and Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. for more than 4 years combined. This is where he gained experience in infrastructure-related Public-Private Partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions. He also served as an accountant in CE Casecnan Water and Energy Company and as an external auditor in Deloitte Philippines.

JM graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. He earned his MBA - Major in Finance degree in 2013 from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He is a Certified Public Accountant and passed the CFA Level 1 exam.
