Chairman

Mr. Pangilinan graduated cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In Manila, he worked for Philippine Investment Management Consultants Inc. (PHINMA) in the Philippines, and in Hong Kong with Bancom International Limited and American Express Bank. Thereafter he founded First Pacific in May 1981.

Mr. Pangilinan served as Managing Director of First Pacific since its founding in 1981 until 1999. He was appointed Executive Chairman until June 2003, after which he was named Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He holds the positions of President Commissioner of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk in Indonesia. In the Philippines, Mr. Pangilinan is the Chairman of PLDT Inc. (PLDT), Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), First Coconut Manufacturing Inc. (FCMI), Manila Electric Company (Meralco), ePLDT, Inc., Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), PLDT Communications and Energy Ventures, Inc. (formerly named Pilipino Telephone Corporation), Maynilad Water Services, Inc., Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, Manila North Tollways Corporation, Philex Mining Corporation, PXP Energy Corporation, Landco Pacific Corporation, Medical Doctors, Inc. (Makati Medical Center), Davao Doctors, Inc. and Colinas Verdes Corporation (Cardinal Santos Medical Center), Mediaquest Holdings, Inc. and Associated Broadcasting Corporation (TV 5), and the Vice Chairman of Roxas Holdings, Inc. On 1st January 2016, he assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of PLDT and Smart.

Jose Ma. K. Lim

DIRECTOR

Mr. Lim graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He received his MBA degree in 1978 from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

Mr. Lim’s background is in investment banking, having worked in various local and foreign banking institutions from 1988 to 1995. He has been with the Metro Pacific Group since 1995 when he joined Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC). In 2001, Mr. Lim assumed the position of Group Vice President and CFO of Metro Pacific Corporation (MPC). He was then elected President and CEO of MPC in June 2003.. In 2006, MPC was reorganized into MPIC which he continues to lead as President and CEO. He was awarded by the Corporate Governance Asia as the Best CEO for Investors Relations for four consecutive years from 2012-2015.

Ramoncito S. Fernandez

DIRECTOR

Mr. Fernandez graduated with a degree in BS Industrial Management Engineering from De La Salle University (DLSU) and earned a Master of Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He completed his Advanced Management Program of IESE (Spain)/ University of Asia and the Pacific in 2014. Mr. Fernandez is currently the President and CEO of Maynilad under MPIC.

Before Maynilad, Mr. Fernandez was head of the Toll Roads business of the group from 2008 to 2015, growing its portfolio inside and outside the Philippines. He is an advocate of customer satisfaction, operating efficiency and innovation.

June Cheryl Cabal-Revilla

DIRECTOR

Chaye Cabal-Revilla joined our Board of Directors last January 25, 2021. She currently also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) .

Prior to MPIC, she held key positions in the PLDT Group, including: Senior Vice President; Group Controller of PLDT, Inc.; Chief Finance Officer of Smart Communications, Inc; Chief Sustainability Officer of the PLDT Group; and Chief Finance Officer/Treasurer of PLDT-Smart Foundation.

Her outstanding financial management skills earned her multiple distinctions, including: CFO of the Year, Asia’s CFO Excellence Awards (Singapore, 2019); CFO of the Year, Philippine Leadership Awards (Philippines, 2019); CFO of the Year Award – Excellence in Financial Planning and Analysis (Singapore, 2018); CFO of the Year, Excellence in Women Leadership (Malaysia, 2018); CFO of the Year, Golden Globe Tiger Award for Women Leadership (Malaysia, 2018); CFO of the Year Excellence Award (Philippines, 2014).

Ms. Cabal-Revilla earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from De La Salle University and her Master of Business Management from Asian Institute of Management. She also attended the Stanford Executive Program of Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rogelio L. Singson

DIRECTOR

Rogelio “Babes” Singson brings with him extensive experience in the field of infrastructure and public utilities. Prior to joining MPW and President, he was President and CEO of Meralco PowerGen Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meralco. He served as Secretary of Public Works and Highways from 2010 to 2016. He also headed the Light Rail Manila Corporation from 2016 to 2017 as its President and CEO. He likewise held the position of President and CEO of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. from 2007 to 2010, and Chairman and President of Bases Conversion and Development Authority from 1998 to 2002.

Mr. Singson obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines and took his master’s program in Public and Business Management at the De La Salle University.

Carlos Lorenzo B. Pagdanganan

CORPORATE SECRETARY

Carlos is the Associate Legal Counsel of Metro Pacific Water. He concurrently serves as its Assistant Corporate Secretary and assists the Head Legal Counsel in corporate housekeeping for MPW and its subsidiaries.

Prior to joining MPW, Carlos worked for Zamora & Poblador Law Offices, where he specialized in litigation and dispute resolution. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017.

Jonet S. Sanalila

AVP FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Jonet is currently the Assistant Vice President for Business Development – Public-Private Partnerships at Metro Pacific Water (MPW). He spearheads the business development efforts of MPW on a national scale, by overseeing portfolio companies and establishing strategic footprint in key target areas in the Philippines. He concurrently serves as a Director various MPW subsidiaries in Iloilo, Baguio, and Dumaguete.

He has over 11 years of experience in the business development unit for the water sector in the Metro Pacific Group, starting out as a Business Development Officer at Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in 2010 prior to joining MPW.

He graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Santo Tomas and has several years of experience in the water sector – with expertise in negotiations, project management, strategic planning, and public-private partnerships.

Mildred Michelle C. Asuncion

AVP FOR HUMAN RESOURCES

Ms. Asuncion graduated at the De La Salle University Manila with a degree in Bachelor of Arts Major in Psychology. She has more than 18 years of experience in Human Resources (consulting, financial services, hotel, advertising, and integrated resort industries).

Prior to joining MPW, she was with Bloomberry Resorts & Hotels, Inc. and responsible for Data Management, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits and Clinic Management of the organization.

She has a strong background and demonstrates ability in compensation and benefits, collective bargaining negotiations with the unions, conflict resolution, policy formulation, organizational development, change management, staff retention strategies, labor relations and in building organizational capability.

Jose Mari A. Lazo

AVP FOR FINANCE

JM currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Finance of Metro Pacific Water. He leads the company’s Financial Reporting and Planning, Investment Analysis, and Treasury functions.

Prior to joining Metro Pacific Water, JM held business development and project management roles in Aboitiz Equity Ventures and Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. for more than 4 years combined. This is where he gained experience in infrastructure-related Public-Private Partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions. He also served as an accountant in CE Casecnan Water and Energy Company and as an external auditor in Deloitte Philippines.

JM graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. He earned his MBA – Major in Finance degree in 2013 from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He is a Certified Public Accountant and passed the CFA Level 1 exam.

Roberto Rey S. Rodrigo

SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

Mr. Rodrigo brings with him over ten (10) years of experience in the field of Law and Compliance. Prior to joining MPW, he worked for 7 years with Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., which owns and operates Resorts World Manila, and was a director handling Corporate Compliance, Contracts and Special Projects when he left. He also worked as an Associate in MOST Law Firm where he stayed for 3 years handling several cases and acting as Corporate Secretary of certain corporations.

Rob graduated at the University of Asia and the Pacific with a bachelor’s degree in Humanities. He further took his juris doctor degree at the San Beda School of Law, Alabang in 2011 and was admitted to the Bar in 2012.

Jose Maria Nino Jesus P. Madara

VP FOR CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

Jonji serves as the VP for Corporate Development in Metro Pacific Water and leads the Company’s efforts to grow its existing investments and pursue new business opportunities, both locally and internationally. He also works with the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation on their waste to energy initiatives. Prior to joining the MPIC group, Jonji worked as an investment banker with the Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines and as an auditor with Ernst & Young in San Francisco, California. He graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco in California and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting and finance.

Maida B. Bruce

TREASURER

Maida is Metro Pacific’s Group Comptroller-Vice President, and concurrently, serves as Metro Pacific Water’s Treasurer and CFO. Maida joined MPIC in November 2009 and is responsible for strengthening and overseeing the Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting and System enhancements processes.

Prior to joining MPIC, Maida held a CFO role with the top real estate company in the Philippines. She was responsible for overseeing the financials of Ayala Lands’s Strategic Landbank Management Group including its other subsidiaries. She has more than thirteen years of extensive experience in banking under Citigroup Australia and Manila. She was VP for Special Purpose Vehicles under the Financial Control Department of Citigroup Australia and has handled several roles and responsibilities also in Citibank Manila. She was part of a pioneer team that implemented, supported and continuously upgraded a proprietary global financial reporting system to multiple countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
